Wat je gaat doen: As Global Inventory manager you are responsible for keeping global Finished Goods inventories current and within agreed levels of affordability, in order for the organization to meet its product availability service levels to its global customer base. Enabled by SI&OP software, you will be accountable to secure the continuous accuracy of product master data, to maintain the appropriate supply models and inventory settings across our product portfolio, for establishing crisp inventory reporting, and for driving down Excess & Obsolete stock levels. You are an experienced business professional; accurate and analytical, with a strong track record in supply chain planning and inventory management. You have a passion for driving continuous simplification and improvements, and for achieving excellent results in a truly global business. Your tasks and responsibilities: Own the architecture and the application of differentiated supply models based on the demand profile of Finished Goods products, a.o. Build to Forecast, re-order point replenishment, Never Our Of Stock, etc. Ensure that all product master data is correctly set up and maintained by the respective business owners across the organization, thus securing the proper functioning and accurate execution of the monthly SI&OP cycle. Maintain correct inventory settings in SI&OP software, needed to balance between product availability service levels and lowest possible inventory levels. This includes for virtual warehouse models, safety stock settings, replenishment and min-max stock level settings, and the like. Establish and deploy smart Finished Goods inventory reporting, KPI's and dashboards, both at operational (PSI) and at executive management level. Collaborate with colleagues in Sales, Sales Operations, Product Management and Finance, to continuously drive down Excess & Obsolete stock levels, through structural use of Stock To Cash and Clearing House business models. Act as expert and mentor for your colleagues in the SI&OP team as well as across the wider global business. Due to the global nature of your role, you will flexibly blend in work and private life activities every day, and you will be required to travel regularly, for about 10% of your time. Wat we vragen: This position requires a minimum BSc level of education in a Finance, Business Administration or Supply Chain curriculum, complemented with professional Supply Chain education, preferable APICS CPIM. A minimum of 7 years of experience in a management or expert position in a global IBP, S&OP or Inventory management position is required, preferably in a multi-faceted global business in the premium Consumer Goods sector.
