Building new and existing relations with these clients, you will show a technical understanding of the products you are selling as well as providing technical advice/expertise. Our client now requires an experienced eCommerce Development Manager, with responsibility for driving the strategy and implementation of its eCommerce programme across the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region. This role will focus on developing and implementing the eCommerce strategy to drive sales growth and build new revenue streams. The Role: In this strategic role, as the eCommerce Development Manager for EMEA, you will lead the eCommerce transformation across the region and have responsibility for, but not limited to: • developing and implementing go-to-market strategies and plans to ensure adoption of e-tools, both internally and externally throughout the region • implementing the eCommerce programme across the region, from a marketing, sales and customer perspective • acting as the EMEA eCommerce "Champion" and working closely with regional and other group teams at all relevant stages of the programme delivery The Group has locations throughout the EMEA region and candidates can be located near to any of the main international business units to fulfil this role. The Candidate: Ideally of graduate standard, or higher, preferably from within a commercial, technical or solutions-based sales and marketing discipline, candidates for the eCommerce Development Manager role will also be required to demonstrate that they have: • at least 5 years' experience of implementing e-commerce strategies and programmes on both an internal and external level • excellent understanding of e-commerce tools and solutions and experience of developing and presenting the customer journey • solid project and change management skills • previous experience of working on a pan-European / international business basis Candidates for the eCommerce Development Manager role should also be: • pro-active and results driven, with a strong commitment to success • a hands-on type individual, who demonstrates initiative and has a positive, professional attitude • able to quickly establish key priorities and secure support from colleagues, including senior management and business stakeholders • a strong capable leader, with the presence and ability to communicate, motivate and influence at the highest level • familiar with standard IT software, be open to new technologies and ideally have European language skills • able to work as part of a team or under their own initiative, demonstrating that they are an organised and capable individual, who us used to multi-tasking and can prioritise their workload in order to meet exacting deadlines Candidates for the eCommerce Development Manager role should note that there will be frequent travel throughout the EMEA region with this role.
