Volume and pricing performance responsibility for inside sales customers.Builds a customer and product strategy for the inside sales customers, providing leadership for two Sub-Regions.SALES STRATEGY & OBJECTIVESTranslating long-term sales strategy into defined and quantifiable sales objectives and goalsWork closely with Product group Sales managers/leaders and Market Managers to ensure alignment of team, individual, enterprise and product group goalsSupport the inside sales team to drive sales performance in line with product group and enterprise strategies/prioritiesDefining and cascading strategic sales targets and performance programsPlan and implement budget in line with Product Group Strategy and customer baseDevelop, motivate and coach the inside sales team, hold regular performance review dialogsSet and monitor targets and objectives for each individual in the team PEOPLE, TALENT & PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENTStaffing: define a proactive sourcing strategyBuild a structured on boarding program with the support of the market managersBuild a coaching plan which is adapted to telephone sellingHold regular performance review dialogues and sales total reward (SIP) BUILD, DEVELOP & MAINTAIN INTERNAL/EXTERNAL CUSTOMER/CLIENT RELATIONSHIPSLead and develop the overall sales strategy for the inside sales customersWork closely with the businesses to get and share market insightsBuild a prospecting and lead strategy in collaboration with the businessesInform cross-functional stakeholders on market trends, competition and account specific initiatives APPLY SALES EFFECTIVENESS PROCESSIntroduce new products, applications or concepts and guide team to set right priorities for pushing innovation with the strong support or market managersCollaborate across businesses, shared services and functions to discover, design and develop effective solutions and value propositions for the customer that help differentiate the company's offering versus competitionProvide guidance, assist and coach on top account negotiations as needed SALES TOOLS / SLAAssist in developing systems and tools that make it easier for the customer organization to do business with CargillDesign the development of services on line with business segmentationDevelop new tools/IT systems that are linked to telephone sellingProfileBachelor's/Master's degreeMinimum 3 years progressive sales management or proven leadership experienceProven influencing skills (downward, upward and peer to peer)Strong business acumenA strong customer focused approachProven process orientation, especially around sales processesProven ability to effectively manage/lead and develop people-building high performing and engaged teamsProven ability to drive sales performance in line with product group and enterprise strategies/prioritiesAbility to foster teamwork through inclusive behavioursProven change leadershipPreferred:3 years experienceSignificant food industry experienceExperience of a "shared" sales environmentExperience with operating a business model based on customer intimacy & business development with a strong food technology, Innovation and marketing focus.Job Offerwhat can you expect in this role:Good salary (depending on you experience)international working environmentnice teamsecondary benefits such as Friday drinks and team activitiesMaintain and develops a team of inside sales reps, located in Schiphol NL, and ensures the team's success.
